The
Need
|
|
High school students are in a terrible need for an electronic
organizer. School standards are become more rigorous during
the recent years, and also students are constantly facing
deadlines for standardized tests and submitting college applications.
The problem is that PDAs are too expensive for the average
teenager. Many high schools are now allowing the students
to carry cellular phones on campus grounds. How about combining
a cell phone with a PDA organizer? This is how the idea of
an electronic organizer/cellular phone came up. I am aware
that there are PDAs with cell phone capabilities in the market
today. However, this system will only fullfill the most basic
functions of PDA. It will concentrate on being solely an organizer
and a cell phone. Hence, making this product very affordable
for teenagers.

Product
Description
|
|
The Cell-PDA resembles an average cellular phone. It measures
2.25 " in width by 4.5" in length. It weighs 4.5
oz. The screen is located in the upper-half of the unit. The
screen measures 2" in width by 2.5" in length.
The Cell-PDA requires the use of a stylus to enter information.
Once the Cell-PDA is turned on, it gives the user two different
modes: phone and organizer. There are two icons on the bottom
of the screens, one for each mode. Once any icon is clicked,
the Cell-PDA works in that particular mode, and allows the
user to work on that function.
